Module
Giving and grants
Money given for a purpose, and whether it went there.
What it does
A charity's money is not one pot. A grant for a borehole may not pay a salary, and the question a trustee, an auditor and a donor all ask is the same one. Funds carry their restriction, every donation lands in a fund, and a grant carries the reports that are due on it.
- Restricted, designated and unrestricted, told apart
- Every donation lands in a fund
- A pledge is not income until it arrives
- Grant reports with the date they are due
- Receipts numbered once, so nobody claims twice
- Members' dues, for a church or an association
GH₵ 150 per month, net of tax, on top of the plan fee and the fee per person. Added and removed by the month.
