One account, one organisation at a time.
An account is a person. A membership joins that person to an organisation with a role. Somebody who belongs to two organisations signs in once and chooses between them.
A phone number or an email address identifies the account. The organisation it belongs to is not revealed until the code sent to that address has been entered, so an address cannot be used to find out who banks where.
